TsukaSen Week is an event to show our love for the ship TsukaSen. This ship is between Senkuu Ishigami and Tsukasa Shishiou from the manga and anime Dr. Stone / DCST. This ship also goes by several other names: TsuSen, SenTsu, SenKasa, 司千, and 千司.

You can participate by posting art, fanfics, twitter threads, cosplays, moodboards, comics/doujinshi, etc. As long as TsukaSen is the focus, it's welcome! :)

All fans can participate, from all language communities, and from all different platforms! (ENG/日本語/中文/ภาษาไทย/한국어/русский/español/português+ ok)

Tagging Information - The following tags must be used for this event: #tksevents, #tkstsukasenweek2022 #tsukasen, and #tsusen are not required, but advised if you want your works to be seen by a wider audience/use the ship tags.

If you are posting to twitter or pixiv, #司千 / #千司 are the Japanese ship tags, you can use those if you wish. (use #司千 if it’s TsukaSen or #司千 if it’s SenKasa), this way it will appear in the JPN tags. (if there are other non-eng tags for TsukaSen, use those if you want)

Content - Whichever media you choose to use for this event (fics, twitter threads, art, etc.) You must have TsukaSen as the focus. We don’t mind “side” ships, but please make TsukaSen stand out.

Content (con’t) - SFW and NSFW is permitted (NSFW art not allowed on Tumblr)! NSFW content must be properly tagged if it’s an Ao3 fanfic, tumblr fic, or a twitter thread. If it is fanart, it must have a SFW thumbnail/preview and contain content warnings (Ex: "This artwork is 18+ only.") and link out to something like privatter, pixiv, etc. If you don't wish to link out to another site, you can post the warnings and tags in the first tweet and add the NSFW artwork within the thread. This way people will be warned that it's NSFW before seeing the artwork. If it's being posted in a thread, you can state in the first tweet something like: "This artwork is NSFW/18+. Image contained in thread below. ⬇⬇⬇"

Note: Do not harass creators! If you don’t like something, ignore it! Use filters on Ao3 if you need to, mute words on twitter, etc. Live and let live!

1. Is this event limited to Twitter only?

No, this event will also be running on Ao3, Tumblr, Discord, and Pixiv as well.

2. Can anyone take part in this event?

Yes, everyone is allowed to participate, it is not exclusive to our Discord server. We just ask that everyone respect one another and not harass other creators.

3. When does TsukaSen week start and end?

TsukaSen week will be starting January 29th and ending February 5th.

4. What is 司千 and 千司? What does 司千 and 千司 mean?

司千( and 千司 ) is the relationship between Senkuu Ishigami and Tsukasa Shishiou from the anime and manga Dr. Stone.

司千 is TsukaSen or TsuSen. 千司 is SenKasa or SenTsu/SenTsuksa. The difference (which tends to be more important in eastern fandoms) lets people know who is the seme (first name - generally the “top” or more dominant character) and uke (second name - the “bottom” or submissive character).

Both TsukaSen and SenKasa are permitted for this event. Anywhere "TsukaSen" is noted, "SenTsuka" also applies!

5. Is NSFW allowed for this event?

Yes, if you are 18+. You are allowed to post NSFW art on Twitter, Privatter, and Pixiv, but not on Tumblr. As for fanfiction, yes you can post NSFW fanfics on Ao3 and Tumblr. NSFW Twitter threads are also allowed. Please tag properly! You must post to the event Ao3 collection!

6. Do I have to submit something every day of this event?

No, you do not. You only have to post for the days that interest you. For fics there are no minimums or maximums, just write whatever you like for the prompts you’ve chosen.

7. What kind of works/media can be submitted for this events?

All types of media are fine. Fanart, fanfics, cosplays, Twitter fic threads, comics/doujinshi, etc. As long as it’s TsukaSen, it’s permitted! Just have fun! :)

8. Can other ships be present in my fic/fanart?

There can be background ships/characters, but the focus must be TsukaSen.

9. Can I team up with someone else for this event?

Yes, you can. Just be sure to credit everyone who is involved!

10. How should I post my work to tumblr/twitter?

Please be sure to provide all relevant information, so that people know what they’re in for before clicking your fic. Use this as an example/general template:

Thread Creators: We’d also suggest posting an image of your fic information from Ao3. (without the censoring)

For NSFW Writers: If you are posting a NSFW Twitter thread, the first post in your thread must contain tags/warnings so that people know what to expect. We will not retweet these threads if they contain explicit writing in the first part of the tweet, the contents of the story must be in the remainder of the thread.

Note for NSFW Artists: If you are posting NSFW art on Twitter, you must link out to privatter, pixiv, poipiku, etc. Your twitter post should have a censored image of your work, the link to your artwork, and the event tags.

11. Can I join your DCST server?

Yes, you can! If you’re interested, please send us a private message! FYI: this is a pro-ship server (all ships are welcome, including TsukaSen of course), so if you have an issue with other ships and dynamics, it might not be the best place for you. Anything that might be considered triggering (to some) or be a squick can be easily avoided by not selecting roles associated with those themes. :) Please note the main language of the server is English, but it’s ok if your English isn’t perfect, you are welcome! :)

12. Can my submission be in any language?

Yes, all languages are allowed. Fans from all over the world can take part, so long as they like/love TsukaSen!

13. Do I have to stick strictly to the prompt meaning?

Not exactly, you can interpret the prompt any way that you wish! Think of it as a means of inspiration. The prompts are there to inspire and guide you.

14. Are all ages allowed to participate?

Yes! However, your works must be age appropriate. So, if you are under 18, your art/fics have to be SFW (rated G or T)! Reminder, that all NSFW imagery (for those 18+) must be posted on other platforms! NSFW fanfiction/drabbles/etc. appears to still be OK on Tumblr. If that has changed, please be sure to let us know!

15. Are all dynamics and iterations of TsukaSen allowed?

Yes, as long as what you are creating is properly tagged, then yes it is allowed.

16. What is TKS?

TKS stands for The Kingdom of Shipping. It is a DCST shipping server where all ships are welcome. TKS hosts events monthly (these are Discord only events, different from this event that’s open to the public) for a wide range of ships, characters, and themes. Ex: Gen month, SenChrome month, ABO month, Rare-Pair month, etc. We also have channels for talking about ships, the anime/manga, roleplaying, writing and art, etc. :) Note: (as of writing this) TKS members’ fics make up 1/3rd of all TsukaSen fics on Ao3 and about 10% of all Dr. Stone fics. :)

17. My fic is multichapter, do I have to post it all at once on the prompt day?

No, you do not. It would be ideal if your multichapter fic was completed (prior to the prompt day), but spaced out - posting each chapter on a different date, as opposed to just finishing chapter one and finishing the rest of the story post the event - is also fine. TLDR: Have all the chapters completed in advance, post chapter 1 on the prompt day, and the other chapters at your leisure.
